An exciting opportunity has become available for a Management Accountant to join one of the world's leading media companies This is an amazing opportunity to join a fast-paced business environment where you will be responsible for co-ordinating all annual budgets & forecasting projects. Reporting to Financial Controller, this commercially focused and forward thinking role will be responsible for but not limited to: Assisting in the preparation of the monthly management pack, performing all reconciliations on Balance Sheet items Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts Work closely with the Project Managers, Cost Controllers and other business functions to provide financial analysis and reporting Effective business partnering with key business areas to identify areas of opportunity and make recommendations for best practice solutions Undertake analytical work, business appraisals and other finance support as requested Supervise the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and concession statements, supporting the team as necessary Develop, review and maintain integrity of financial models using Excel Assist in the year-end process and preparation of Statutory Financial Accounts for the entity Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the IT finance system Ensure that professional knowledge in financial and management accounting is maintained in all work produced Plan and organise any other ad hoc projects as required by the Financial Controller The ideal candidate: Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA Advanced Excel; experience dealing with large volumes of transactional data and efficiently manipulating spread sheets Handle actively welcomes applicants from under-represented backgrounds PLEASE NOTE: Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are unable to respond to everyone.
