We are currently working with a wonderful Hospitality/Events company that is looking for a Management Accountant for a temporary to permanent position, immediate start. This is a great position for someone looking for a position at a company that is going to continuously expand over the next 5 years and beyond. Your responsibility will be based around management accounting, management reporting, financial accounting and financial control. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar company although this is desirable. But will have a real broad experience of Management Accountant and Financial Accounting, also with experience of managing people. Roles/
Responsibilities:
• Manage a small team: Assistant Management Accountant & Payroll Supervisor
• Provide analysis to help improve performance and decision making across the entire business
• Full responsibilities for Management Accountant production for entire portfolio
• Preparation of Accruals and Prepayments schedule
• Post month end journals for preparation of month accounts
• Update long term forecast with monthly actuals for board reports
• Aid payroll Manager during monthly pay run
• Assist Chief Financial Officer with year-end audit
• Submission of financial data to investors
• Continuously review processes and update policies
• Ad-Hoc duties from Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer Personal Specification Essential:
• Full qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA or equivalent)
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Strong MS Office Knowledge
• Exposure to multi-currency accounting
• Good time management
• Accuracy with attention to detail
• Analytical with the ability to identify and solve problems
• Building relations with members of the company
• Strong communication skills with a wide range of personnel skills
• Management skills
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience (Desirable)
