Our client an eclectic group of creative companies based in South London are seeking to recruit a Finance Manager. The role reports to the Managing Director with the assistance of bookkeeper. Duties include the following: - Oversee and support the day to day operation of the group's accounting function. - Manage and review of the monthly reporting packs and ensuring accuracy of financial information comprising: a. Management accounts b. Project cost/profitability analysis c. Variance analysis d. Consolidated management accounts - Monitor and review of cash-flow - Monitor and review of bank drawdown notices, including liaising with the bank managers and project managers. - Assist with the strategic planning of the group and develop plans for financial growth - Liaise with in-house project teams re project cash-flows and budgeting - Liaise with 3rd parties including external accountants, professional advisers, bank relationship managers and key suppliers. - Supervision of bookkeeper. - Improve systems and controls Key competencies, skills and qualities - Excellent communication skills - written and verbal - Strong in setting up and structuring processes - Commercial awareness and good sense of judgement - Forward thinking and seeks opportunities - Strong analytical skills - Identifying and solving problems - Trustworthy and reliable - Attention to detail - Organised Qualifications and experience - ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or QBE Please apply on-line for immediate consideration.
