NXTGEN are recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner role for a leading organisation based in Peterborough. This highly influential role will work across the organisation to provide greater clarity on financial performance, working closely with operational teams to understand performance vs plan. As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play an active role in influencing strategy and longer term financial planning, whilst also taking responsibility for the budget and forecasting cycle within a number of business units. It is also expected that the successful candidate will review complex revenue streams, ensuring that all spend is justified with maximum return. Key responsibilities of the role will include: - Monthly cost centre reporting, reviewing performance vs plan and commenting on any variances - Work closely with the leadership team on medium and long term business planning, ensuring financial objectives and goals are achievable - Play a significant role in driving the quarterly/annual budgeting and forecasting process - Influence business strategy through effective financial modelling, reviewing trends and historical data when required - Business partner with key stakeholders, updating on financial performance and identifying areas for improvement when required The successful candidate will ideally be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a background in Financial Analysis/Business Partnering. Excellent Excel skills will be key to succeeding in the role given the high volumes of data reviewed across the role. Candidates will need to be confident business partnering with various departments and stakeholders, including Executives. Demonstrable experience working with Operational teams is highly desirable as is any experience with continuous improvement/process change.
