Orka Financial is currently working with a business based in Reading that is looking to recruit an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the finance team. The Assistant Financial Accountant role reports directly into the Financial Accountant delivering financial reporting to the business. You will ideally be an ACA/ ACCA/CIMA) studier who is able to take ownership of various accounting and reporting processes. Duties include; Assisting with the preparation of the year end financial accounts Ownership of various accounting and reporting processes which deliver financial reports Preparing and maintaining account reconciliations Provide analytical support to the Finance Accountant Analyse high volumes of data Preparation of journal entries Build strong working relationships with internal and external stake holders Assisting with preparation of month end Experience Experience of working in a finance environment Strong Excel skills Excellent analytical skills Salary £27,000 - excellent benefits and study support
