Chief Financial Officer / COO The Agency My client is looking for a CFO / COO to join their award-winning interdisciplinary creative agency. The opportunity With steady but lucrative growth they've identified an opportunity for a new team member to join them in a senior role as COO / CFO. The role is part of the senior leadership team reporting directly into the CCO / Owner and is suited to someone with a proven track record of a leadership role within a similar type of business. You will lead the Finance function of the business, with a direct report Finance manager. You will also lead operations across the agency, with management of commercials, HR, budgeting and performance management. This role is to be the bridge between the project, creative and Finance teams translating financial and project analysis into real life challenges that can be identified and solved. You will be an entrepreneurial self-starter and be a brilliant problem solver. You should have a never say never approach and be skilled at asserting your influence to help keep projects, teams and the business on target. The Requirements 3 years plus experience in a similar role (Senior leadership position) with intimate knowledge of board communication and team leadership. 2 years growth stage start-up experience Have experience of Finance, fee-based billing & working agency commercials Able to operate both a detailed and strategic level, they will not be afraid of rolling up their sleeves to make things happen. Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills together with an intimate knowledge and understanding of business.
