Role covers all aspects of the investment risk framework as a key part of the Corporate Risk Day to day maintenance of the independent investment risk framework and counterparty risk framework including risk-based assessment of counterparty credit worthiness Daily UCITS reporting (currently on POINT) Preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly fund risk reports for internal management and corporate boards Monitoring of various credit and liquidity risk limits against internal thresholds Participation in various committees (Pricing committee, Trading Committee, Investment Committee) Responsible for the testing and design of a new risk system (Hedgemark), part of a larger firm-wide automation project Working with the CIO to develop new metrics for internal risk monitoring Escalation of monitoring queries to line management, fund managers or operations staff as appropriate. Development and maintenance of procedures for investment risk management activities Key Skills Highly numerate and literate with attention to detail a must Quick to learn with a hands-on, proactive and helpful attitude a must Experience of new framework / system implementation a plus Experience with Quantitative risk system preferred, knowledge of Hedgemark a plus Understanding of credit analysis, loans or debt instruments a plus UCITS reporting experience a plus AIFMD regulation knowledge and/or knowledge of fund structures including Luxembourg SPV structures a plus Understanding of market and credit risk measures (and practical experience a plus) including liquidity analysis, volatility etc. Understanding of Credit & Counterparty risk management processes Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
