This driven and innovative businesses need a Finance Analyst to join one of their key divisions. The role is going to be ideally suited for someone who has recently qualified working for an in-house finance function where they have had lots of exposure to various stakeholders and have played a hands-on role in various projects beyond the BAU. This permanent role has been newly created in the FP&A function and will focus mostly on costs. You will partner with the divisional CEO and CIO, as well as their teams to investigate, plan and optimise certain costs in the business. This will involve an initial data cleanse to be included in new planning software.

Responsibilities:
Building strong relations with the Senior Management (especially CEO, CIO) on all aspects of reporting and analysis; Continuing to challenge all processes to increase productivity Challenging results and seeking opportunities to reduce costs / develop efficiencies Creation of a suite of MI containing thorough and robust reporting of but, not restricted to budget & forecast variances, future insight on scenarios for the business, recommendations to the business based on analysis Alongside the main responsibilities this person will also then have the opportunity to support the wider FP&A team in analysis of other aspects of the business, including being involved with the main financial model of all the fund management business. There will also be a parallel project running alongside the above for the redesign and replacement of the fund management financial model - into which this role will have an input. Qualifications: Recently Qualified CIMA or ACCA. Excellent communication skills and able to challenge and influence decision-making. Advanced excel skills - (VLOOK UPS, pivots, ifs, etc) Experience supporting new tech projects would be a bonus. Comfortable working autonomously, taking ownership of workload. Excellent attention to detail. An individual looking to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment in a vibrant and growing finance team.
