Role: Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant

Old Trafford Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am- 5pm Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd are proud to be exclusively recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a leading furnishing solution company in Manchester. Our client delivers and installs all aspects of interiors, and are a one-stop shop for the complete furnishing process to the lettings industry. The role is temporary initially however, it may become permanent. The purpose of the role will be to maximise the efficiency of the Purchase Ledger function by ensuring all invoices are loaded prior to each month end cut off, all expenses are paid on time, invoices are paid on time each month, dealing with Partners and a variety of other tasks which are listed below. Roles and responsibilities; Posting of Invoices to Purchase Ledger onto the in-house accounting system Posting to supplier accounts ensuring accuracy, resolving any queries and liaising with third parties if necessary Raising payments via the Bacs run and manual cheques (when required) Maintaining the current CRM system to ensure the correct managers are always linked to the appropriate staff members, enabling the authorisation of invoices electronically Assisting with staff expenses Ensure all supplier contacts details and payment details are always kept up to date To ensure all suppliers (500 key and 1,400 in total) are paid on time each month and all contractual terms are adhered to The ideal candidate; Have Maths GCSE, Grade C or above Good knowledge and experience of working on Microsoft Excel and Word Previous experience of working to deadlines and dealing with external customers If this role is of interest please apply following the link below or contact Vicky Fort By submitting your CV to Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd you are consenting to Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd providing you with recruitment services as an agency defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and authorising Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd to work seek on your behalf.
