As a result of this continued development, they are now recruiting for a part qualified Accountant to join their reporting and analysis team. The role will be fast-paced and challenging, but equally rewarding and duties will include; Preparation of year-end overhead reporting with analysis delivering with a view to providing comprehensive business performance to heads of department Providing business partnering advice and support to key stakeholders Working on and delivering budgets and forecasts In cohort with your line manager, reviewing and suggesting areas of improvement that can be achieved to ensure financial controls and robust and stand up to scrutiny Preparing accruals and prepayments Setting up and maintaining general ledger codes Ad hoc duties This role will suit someone who is part-qualified and actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA or ACA and will be focused on achieving their qualification, or equally someone who is qualified by their experience but still wants to learn and progress will also considered. Key attributes that will lead to the success of the business are excellent communication skills, advanced Excel knowledge and the ability to manage your own workload. Experience working in manufacturing would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. The ability to challenge and problem solve is essential as the business has a history of empowering their people and this will be a role that will give you great scope to grow and develop.
