Our client, an innovative and solutions driven business in Luton, have an opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join the team. This is a newly created role due to a recent promotion. Working in a busy finance team, your responsibilities as Accounts Assistant will include: Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices Credit Control Cash allocation Payment runs Expenses Preparing weekly payroll Reconciling supplier statements Bank reconciliations Query resolution Ad hoc support to Accounts Manager as needed The ideal Accounts Assistant will have previous experience in a similar role, have good Excel/IT skills, be confident working as part of a team and building relationships at all levels. You will have a flexible can do attitude, be keen to learn, develop and help out with additional tasks as and when needed.
