Preferred Qualifications The Global Finance Operations (GFO) team is responsible for managing Quoting, Contracting, Order Management and Compensation services. We provide high quality and effective service that ensures revenue to Oracle is maximized while protecting our legal and commercial interests. The Global Finance Reporting & Analytics team is one of the operational teams providing support to this organization. This includes publishing & analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), operational reporting, transforming data to information, & budgetary support. The team provides accurate and timely services to help the overall organization run more effectively, and to enable data driven operations. Job Posting Description Design and analyze internal operational reporting & modeling for the Global Finance Operations team with a focus on simplification, standardization & automation. This includes issuance & analysis of KPI reports, quarterly operations review packages, budgetary reporting/information, staffing models and providing project management of key automation efforts, all in support of enabling an efficient, effective & data driven organization. Detailed Description Analyze global reporting to summarize and present operational results to upper management in a meaningful and useful format. Responsibilities include analysis of the operational reports in order to drive improvements across the processes and assisting in the completion of quarterly and year end reviews. Develope new KPI reporting that provides necessary data to enable senior management to drive short term business decisions and determine long term strategic direction. Ability to transform data in to relevant information/recommendations that demonstrates value within the organization, promotes operational efficiencies, and drives changes in behaviour both inside and outside of the organization. Experience with budget management & reporting. Demonstrate strong communication skills within team and with senior management. Advanced level Excel skills required; additional skills in Alteryx and other data preparation tools, as well as, Business Intelligence experience are beneficial. Detailed Description and Job Requirements Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organizations financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes. Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired.
