The Company This manufacturing business has a global presence with several sites throughout the UK and several employees. They are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team due to the natural progression of a current employee. The Role The Assistant Financial Accountant will get a wide range of exposure to financial accounting and the responsibilities include: - Fixed asset register maintenance - Be able to analyse large volumes of data - Reporting to key stakeholders - Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis - Monthly VAT returns - The review of monthly journals - Any ad-hoc duties within the department Person Specification The ideal candidate will be: - Part-qualified (ACCA/ACA) - Use of an ERP system - Strong Excel knowledge - Excellent communication skills - Good attention to detail What's on offer As well as a competitive salary the role offers a number of employee benefits. - Study support included The opportunity provides a huge amount of exposure to Financial Accounting and study support to finish off your studies.
