A fantastic opportunity for a VAT Consultant to join this top Chartered Accountancy Firm has become available. This is a newly created position and works alongside the VAT Partner. You will be responsible for providing a high level VAT Consultancy service to a variety of clients. Key

responsibilities:
Manage a range of VAT consultancy project for clients Conduct VAT reviews identifying planning opportunities and VAT savings and mitigate VAT exposure for clients Provide technical briefings to clients, partners and staff Provide a VAT helpline and consultancy service to accountancy, business advisors and legal clients Management of WIP, debtors and billing Form and maintain strong relationships with external bodies Attend networking and other events Experience, skills and knowledge required: Strong practical working VAT knowledge Ability to explain complex technical issues confidently and with ease Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience of working in HMRC would be advantageous Experience of working in an accountancy practice and providing advice to a variety of clients AIIT qualification advantageous but not essential In return you will be part of a growing firm that can offer great career development and prospects, they offer a highly competitive salary and company benefits.
