Due to further growth of their extensive portfolio; our client is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join the existing team based in Central Manchester. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be tasked with the delivery of a high quality, accurate and efficient reporting service to both internal and external stakeholders of the business. This is a newly created role to provide comprehensive analysis of transactions across the group while measuring and reporting on key performance variances that support the business in its strategic decision making process. Key aspects of this current opportunity include: Assisting the Financial Controller with budget setting and re-forecasting Creation and implementation of key management reports for the different business areas Analysis of balance sheet position Monthly P&L reporting and variance analysis Cash flow modelling Assisting with current project work Mentoring and supporting the Finance team To be successful in this role you will be a Strong Part Qual / finalist (CIMA/ACCA) with a technical accounts background and be a able to demonstrate that you are ready for the step up in responsibilities. You will be an excellent communicator and have very strong excel ability with experience of report design and creation.
