Job description: Corporate Finance Manager - 6 Month Contract Based in St Albans Opportunity for a fully qualified accountant to join Premier Foods for a project based and wide-ranging role that will cover many aspects of corporate finance, associated with Investor Relations and M&A activity for the Group. The role is based within the Group Finance team and reports directly to the Director of Investor Relations & Treasury. Key Responsibilities Delivery of corporate finance project requirements including, but not limited to: Financial modelling of strategic plans Drafting of description of historical financial performance Collation and verification of statements and financial and market data stated in draft documentation Close and collaborative liaison with key colleagues involved in the project, especially Group Finance, UK and International Finance teams and Legal. Liaison with auditors and corporate advisors Delivery of presentation materials using Microsoft Powerpoint, as required Key supporter to Director of Investor Relations & Treasury to deliver analysis and insight ahead of external results announcements and other communications with equity and debt holders and analysts Supporting Group Finance forecasting and budgeting processes as required Monitor and review of key competitor and sector financial performance and distribution of relevant financial summaries to Executive Leadership Team Participation in other projects as required, e.g. working capital forecasting Key Deliverables Key external deadlines delivered in line within agreed timetables Swiftly build strong collaborative relationships with key project stakeholders Timely and succinct distribution to ELT of consumer sector financial performances Process improvement delivery Qualifications & Experience Degree or equivalent Fully Qualified Accountant (preferably CIMA or ACA) with at least 5yrs PQE, preferably in a PLC listed environment Corporate finance, M&A or Investor Relations/Capital markets experience Financial support, including planning and analysis Experience in the consumer sector (FMCG or Retail environment) desirable but not essential. Excellent analytical, teamworking and communication skills Excellent Excel, Powerpoint and Word skills Strong process design and management skills
