We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team to perform a robust credit control process and learn strong internal audit procedures. A typical day: Communicating with clients by email and phone Involvement in the company credit control process ensuring prompt payment from our clients Bank reconciliations and cashbook management Working with the Finance Officer in charge of payroll and ledgers to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively Working closely with all areas of the business to resolve any invoicing queries as well as other finance-related enquiries Involvement in the bought ledger; sorting and input of supplier invoices, ensuring authorisation, arranging and conducting payments Involvement with the sales ledger ensuring all invoices are raised and sent in a timely manner Processing company credit card, petty cash and staff expenses Assist with the overflow telephone calls - redirecting calls and taking clear messages Provide administrative support as directed What makes a good candidate?
