Audit/Accounts Semi Senior & Senior Our Client Based in Surrey, our client is a 3 partner, family feel firm. They are a smaller firm that are looking to develop and continue to build their audit teams. The firm manages prestigious portfolios in a variety of different sectors including media and entertainment, retailers, manufacturing, IT and NFP. The Role The client is looking to fill an Audit & Accounts Senior and Semi-Senior role, both majority Audit roles and requires minimal Accounts experience. The role is based in Surrey where you'll work around a team of around 10 people, including partner and Audit manager, leading and liaising with juniors on a number of varied Audits. These are key roles within the Audit team and will report to and work with the Managers in most cases and directly with Partners in some. The varied nature of the role offers excellent all round exposure as well as a clear route for progression for nominated staff to enter onto a development programme. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to the following: Planning, budgeting and executing all Audit assignment from start to finish Working with a range of entities including Listed companies, HNWIs and Owner managed businesses Leading accounts assignments on a range of clients in the Entertainment, Property and Retail sectors You will have full responsibility for all aspects of planning and performing all audit assignments from start to finish, including budgets and client meetings and visits Training, delegating, monitoring and reviewing the work of junior staff on large assignments The Candidate Our client is looking for two candidates to fill each role. The perfect candidate for the Audit & Accounts Semi Senior role will have had minimum 2 years Audit experience; being part qualified is preferred but not essential. The clients you will deal with will be varied and therefore your previous client portfolio must be diverse and profitable. The varied nature of the role offers excellent all round exposure as well as a clear route for progression for nominated staff to enter onto a development programme to Senior and then Manager. The Senior role entails the same sort of split but requires 3 years Audit experience, minimum 1 year at Audit/Accounts Senior level; ACA or ACCA qualified is preferred but not essential. Excellent numerical skills High level of accuracy and attention the detail Effective organisation and time management Ability to delegate and communicate effectively Pro-active and take initiative Able to commute easily to and around Surrey What's on Offer?
