Reporting into the internal Audit Manager, you will work as part of a team of 7 audit professionals as you deliver and manage assurance work across the business, supporting the delivery of the annual audit plan. The successful applicant will bring an understanding of the concepts of risk, controls and materiality, allied with a true passion to succeed. Day to day tasks will include: Delivering individual audit assignments, end-to-end, working with a high degree of autonomy. Audit delivery will include: Developing a good knowledge of the audit area under review. Identifying the key risks and controls. Designing and executing appropriate testing strategies to provide a robust opinion on the design and operating effectiveness of the controls. Agreeing pragmatic management actions for reportable issues. Drafting audit issues, full audit reports and other documentation to a high standard. This is a highly visible role within the corporation and as such we seek someone with exceptional communication and influencing skills and you will work across the company and build relationships with the Senior Executive as well as more junior personnel. You will feel comfortable offering challenge to your business colleagues and enjoy being able to add value as you discuss your recommendations and findings with them. You will have a high ethical standpoint and will be a champion of standards and policies set by the company at all times. It is essential that all applicants are qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent as much of the role will be financially focussed audit. The client operates a very flexible agile working policy and as such, applicants can base themselves from any of their operational offices spread across Kent, or spend a couple of days a week at their Flagship London offices.
