My client are a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Royston, Hertfordshire. They are seeking an Accounts Manager / Client Manager, to lead a small accounting team and client portfolio. They are a fast-growing accountancy firm and require an experienced Qualified Accountant to join the team to manage the expanding workload. The ideal Accountant is expected to have a strong background within the finance industry, especially within an Accountancy practice, as this would be essential to ensure you can hit the ground running and push forward. Accounts Manager Position Overview Preparing reports, budgets & financial statements Controlling and forecasting the companies' income and expenditure Assist in the full production of a month end P&L and balance sheets Manage a portfolio of clients Reconciliation of accounts when required VAT returns Advising business owners on growth opportunities Managing a team of 5 Junior Accountants / Semi Seniors Accounts Manager Position Requirements A minimum of 4 years' experience within an Accountancy practice is required Team management experience An excellent knowledge of iris and cloud based software is essential ACCA / ACA qualified (or final exams remaining) Excellent customer service and team management experience This opportunity is suitable for an experience Semi Senior, Accounts Senior, Client Accountant or experienced Accounts Manager seeking that next step. Salary:
