Wolfram Research Europe Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Office and HR Manager to take responsibility for managing the operations group as well as taking company-wide responsibility for HR and a number of other functions. Includes: Operations 1) Acting as line manager for the Customer Service, IT and Accounts departments. 2) Dealing with legal & compliance issues including negotiating and reviewing contracts for suppliers, customers, events and contract disputes. 3) Attend and keep minutes of Senior Management meetings. 4) Act as legal representative for signing company contracts. 5) Building and Tenant - Overseeing building and site maintenance issues along with tenant contract negotiations. 6) ISO 9001 - Overseeing the company's ISO9001 compliance. 7) Dealing with annual insurance renewals. Human Resources 1) Recruitment - Dealing and negotiating with agencies as well as dealing with direct recruitment. 2) Payroll processing - calculation, submission and reconciliation of monthly payroll and associated monthly and annual returns including pension compliance, private healthcare and salary sacrifice schemes. 3) Employment Contracts - reviewing and issuing contracts to new starters. 4) Dealing with new starter inductions and performing exit interviews. 5) Dealing with immigration Visa submissions. 6) Dealing with employment disputes and processes. 7) Maintaining databases of annual performance reviews and vacation/sickness tracking. 8) Ensuring that the company complies with employment legislation at all times. 9) Health & Safety and Risk Assessment - Ensuring that these are up to date and compliant. Accounting 1) Be familiar with financial reports and have a business knowledge of accounts. 2) Have confidence and knowledge to analyse accounts with company Management Accountant. 3) Presenting accounts and financial reports to the senior management team. This is a senior management position within the business and previous experience of Operational, Human Resource and/or Accounting management is essential. The position will suit an individual keen on having a diverse set of responsibilities within a high-tech growing business, being calm under pressure and methodical in approach.
