Manufacturing Cost Accountant Temporary (ongoing) Full Time - 8am to 4pm £15.38 per hour Wrexham The Role Manufacturing Cost Accountant required for a global company, providing a link between Finance and Operations. The successfully appointed candidate will have a background in manufacturing and extensive accounts experience.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for weekly control and review of production execution data entry to ensure accurate reporting on production performance Review daily variance analysis and work with the Operations team to develop corrective actions in relation to performance variance Work alongside non-Finance teams to develop continuous improvement initiatives Resolve variances on stock counts Complete periodic plant performance reporting Use Excel to update performance dashboards Act as first point of contact for GRIR variances link with plant teams to resolve issues Bill of materials and product Costings Monthly accounts and journal acruals Compile balance sheet Risks and Operations Schedule Prepare ICP budgets Materials forecasting Candidate requirements: A background in manufacturing is essential for this role Demonstrable experience in accounts An understanding of how operational data feeds into plant performance Strong technical and analytical skills, especially in SAP and Excel The ability to communicate effectively with people from all levels A degree or Masters in Accountancy or Finance is preferred but not essential The Package £15.38 per hour Full Time - 8am to (Monday to Friday) - some flexibility to work outside those hours when the business requires Free Parking The opportunity to work within a friendly team After a continuous 12 weeks service holiday entitlement is 25 days plus bank holidays The Company Our client is a global manufacturing company who has a fantastic reputation for quality.
