Council Tax Project Officer Bromley, London £dependant on experience An opportunity has arisen for a Project Officer working within the Westminster and Lambeth Council Tax Team. We are looking for someone ideally with Revenues experience and ideally with knowledge of the Northgate and Academy (One Revs) systems. The role would include undertaking project tasks independently on internal and external projects. Responsibilities include: Monthly KPI reporting/information pack Monthly/weekly Operational Statements Monthly Recovery Notice Reports FOI Request responses Annual Billing preparation and system testing Arrears Recovery Stats/Reporting Attending meetings Maintaining action logs, chasing actions and providing updates Maintaining risk and issue registers Database information extraction and analysis Completing and supplying statistical returns and reconciliation statements Overseeing Projects - Driving everything forward from planning to implementation Liaising with Managers and Clients, as required Working by and promoting Capita's values Person Attributes: Enthusiastic, friendly and confident with a positive attitude Ability to manage your own time, prioritising tasks in the face of changing and conflicting demands and use own initiative Good communication and presentation skills Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships both internally and externally Excellent organisation skills Be technically minded Attention to details with a thorough approach and a desire to provide a quality service, with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness A team player Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Ability to work flexible hours if required Essential Experience/Skills: A data-driven mindset Competent using MS Outlook, Word & Excel Excellent written and verbal skills Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above Multi-tasking and prioritization Strong analytical/problem solving skills Desirable Experience/Skills: Knowledge and use of Microsoft Access Knowledge of Council Tax Northgate and Academy (One Revs) experience Experience of working in a team and independently Project Officers are normally contracted to work between 9am and 5pm, although some weekend work may be necessary, especially when project testing is required.
