Our client based in Peterborough is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Finance Assistant on a fulltime permanent basis. This role is purchase ledger with a twist. Whilst matching and batching invoices you will also be looking at the breakdown of the invoices and allocating the correct transactions to the relevant suppliers. The company will also offer study support and want to develop careers within finance Job Role:- Ensure purchase invoices are posted to the correct nominals Manage the purchase ledger and advise of payments due Enter payments on to Banking System for authorisation Liaise with suppliers and resolve disputes Assist with queries relating to submission of annual accounts to external Accountants Adhoc duties as and when required This is the chance to join a successful business that values its employees which is reflected in the benefits package that is on offer. This role is Monday to Friday. To be considered for this role you MUST have at least 6 months relevant purchase ledger (sales ledger) experience. Interviews to happen asap.
