Lead Internal AuditorWe are seeking a Lead Internal Auditor to join our Business Excellence team in Manchester.This is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic audit professional to join our international business and utilise their audit expertise to support our business.Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, the Lead Internal Auditor will be critical to establishing the newly formed internal audit team within DWF following the business' successful listing on the London Stock Exchange. Through impactful and insightful audits you will help drive improvements in processes, risk management and internal controls to help DWF deliver its strategy.You will lead and deliver complex risk based audits across all areas of the business, work closely with our co-sourced partner, and build strong relationships within the business in order to influence business change and improvements in control. You will also support the broader activities of the internal audit team, helping to develop our ways of working aligned to The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards, and developing the audit committee reporting.The ideal candidate will have extensive risk based internal audit and/or financial controls audit experience (typically at least 5 years relevant audit and/or controls experience in either industry or practice), alongside experience of internal audit methodologies, a proven track record of influencing and building strong relationships with business stakeholders of all levels, and demonstrable experience of managing multiple projects/audits in an organised and effective manner.To find out more about us and how we are shaping the legal sector please visit our website.About DWF DWF became the largest global listed legal business in March 2019.
