Our client, who are based in Ash Vale, are looking for an ambitious Finance manager to join their team on a full time basis as a result of company growth. You will be joining a company who are a market leader in their field, having been established in 1970 they are now an internationally recognized brand and have ambitious plans to continue growing in an exciting industry. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will have a structured and pro-active approach to transactional processing, governance, analysis and problem solving. This is a new role and seen as a key part of the longer term vision for the Finance team. The role and responsibilities will therefore evolve over time, requiring an individual who is comfortable with and motivated by change. Key requirements: Managing a team of 4, including Sales & purchase ledgers Overseeing weekly margin analysis and inter-company billing cycles All Vat matters and related reporting, for both UK & US entities Monthly accounts production Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis Taking a strong lead on all month end processes and management reporting Completing and presenting detailed financial analysis Working with the FC and wider team to continually develop and strengthen governance controls, understanding and effective reporting Provide full support and cover the FC where required Other ad-hoc finance tasks Key Requirements Solid Finance experience, with full exposure to month end reporting and controls Strong attention to detail and effective time management Excellent communication skills, having the ability to explain basic financial issues and develop effective solutions Strong Excel skills, with a solid understanding of VLOOKUP & PIVOT functionalities Sage 200 experience (or similar) ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent
