Forensic Accountant - Associate Starting immediately, a Forensic and Investigative Professional Support Services Consultancy is looking for a Forensic Accountant - Associate to work from its London office. Job Description The Forensic Accounting professionals review accounting and business records and provide detailed analysis to help uncover essential facts and insights. They bring to bear the range of the forensic investigation skill set to help clients understand and analyze events or issues and prepare to deal with them. The company has developed methodologies and strategies that help clients handle difficult circumstances. They are looking for individuals who seek exciting, long-term career challenges and has a genuine interest in the area of forensic/investigative accounting and litigation support services. Successful individuals in this field are naturally outgoing, self-motivated, possess strong communication, leadership and analytical skills, and enjoy a wide variety of work experiences and challenges. Responsibilities Perform targeted analysis of data, under the guidance of Project Managers, from client ERP systems Review documents to identify items relevant to investigation Compile and analyse facts to formulate, substantiate and/or critique financial calculations, theories, claims, or conclusions Assist project managers in preparation of tables, exhibits and charts for the inclusion in draft reports Maintain integrity of corporate information Balance multiple projects and responsibilities Communicate effectively to all levels of engagement management Demonstrate an understanding of risk associated with various engagements Support the firm in its business development and marketing activities Qualifications, Skills and Experience - Essential Graduate - either undergraduate or post-graduate degree - with no more than 2 years of work experience of technical and financial advisory work related to accounting, audit, forensic accounting, investigation or litigation services Demonstrated interest in accounting, especially in forensic-related matters Create and deliver client service work that exceeds client expectations Ability to work independently under the guidance of project managers and take ownership of specific assignment tasks Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong analytical abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills and very strong organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Flexibility with the travel requirements of client service projects required Qualifications, Skills and Experience - Preferred Business fluency in German, Russian, Portuguese, Mandarin and/or Spanish strongly preferred A strong accounting, finance, and/or economics background preferred Experience in the Financial Services Industry a plus Graduate Diploma in Accounting (or related) preferred Diploma in Fraud Examination preferred Competitive Package Based in EC1N (nearest station is Farringdon) Ref: GGP 117
