PROJECT FINANCIAL ANALYST - WETHERBY - £35,750 (PRO-RATA) - 10 WEEK PROJECT THE ROLE: To support the programme team in development of the financial and economic aspects of the Business Case to DCMS for additional storage and realignment of activities on site. KEY

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To quickly familiarise themselves with the objectives and deliverables of the proposed development on the Boston Spa site and the options under consideration. 2. To review and complete the financial analysis and modelling of the proposed options using information from internal and external sources to provide accurate costings. To provide assurance and explanation of material differences to previous estimates. 3. To use financial models to produce Net Present Values and Return on Investment ratios in line with Green Book methodology. 4. To develop and use financial models to produce sensitivity analysis, optimism bias and opportunity costs applying mechanisms derived from the Green Book. 5. To develop and produce an economic impact assessment including identification of ideas and monetarising these for inclusion in the overall NPV calculation. WHAT DO YOU NEED: 1. A recognised accountancy qualification or appropriately qualified by experience. 2. The courage to speak up, to challenge others and to hold a mirror to the business. 3. Ability to influence, build relationships and effectively communicate to get the message across and get a discussion going. 4. Experience of producing Business Cases to the Green Book method. 5. Extensive experience is using Microsoft Excel for complex modelling. 6. A high level of knowledge and experience of using and applying key financial and economic analysis concepts including NPV, sensitivity analysis and optimism bias 7. The ability to quickly interpret financial information as a basis for advising management and recommending courses of action.
