You will be working along side the financial controller, for a busy manufacturing company ensuring that the accounting function is completed on time and accurately. Essential Key Skills Previous experience in a finance role Knowledge of double-entry accounting and cross-border VAT is essential Experience in MS Office, Outlook, Excel and an accounting software Analytical and strong problem solving abilitiesDesirable requirements AAT qualificationResponsibilities Sales ledger and purchase ledger Matching and reconciling invoices Dealing with any queries and investigating Processing staff expenses and making sure receipts match up with mileage expenses Bank reconciliations Petty Cash Manage VAT imports, ensuring that C79 certificates are received and processed Manage the purchase order systemThis is a Permanent, Part time role, 15 hours a week which can be worked over 2/3 days.
