Finance Assistant - Kent based Salary/Rate £13,000 - £15,000 per annum Location - West Wickham, Greater London InVictus Recruitment is a niche consultancy business which specialises in recruiting purely within the Property & Facilities Sectors. Due to expansion of our Dynamic and fast growing organisation we are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team in West Wickham. The successful candidate needs excellent attention to detail, able to work on own initiative, hands on and able to prioritise. You will be working closely with and supporting the Finance Manager in providing a high quality of professional support service in the areas of finance, procurement and administration. Main Duties &
Responsibilities:
Efficiently and accurately run the purchase ledger function, ensure timely payment of all supplier invoices/staff expenses/internal invoices and ad hoc payments. Plan, organise and manage own workload. Monitor and amend reports to ensure accurate reflection of expenditure, particularly at year-end period. Input and maintain supplier information. Assist the Finance Manager with expenditure reporting to budget holders at appropriate intervals, and general budget monitoring. Manage catering request forms in order to analyse and distribute the charges on the monthly catering contractors invoices, and to log catering expenditure. Petty cash account maintenance and reconciliations. Maintenance of any suppliers paid by direct debits To respond to financial enquiries from staff on financial matters and to assist internal and external auditors with the location of information and records. Means testing assessments. To provide a high standard Word documents of Excel & Word spread sheets & documents. Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate.
