Overview We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join a busy team in a rapidly expanding retailer. Mountain Warehouse currently trades from over 360 stores including 75 stores across Europe & North America. We also have a thriving e-commerce site and trade through a number of online marketplaces, such as Amazon & Ebay, both in the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely capture & payment of invoices. What you'll be doing Working with the Team Leader to assess current processes and identify opportunities to improve Document processes for all tasks undertaken by the Stock team Work with internal contacts within the Buying & Logistic teams to identify how the purchase to pay process can be improved Test and roll-out improvements including full training & communication. Monitor efficiency of changes Identify and report on Key Performance Indicators and agreed Service Levels including regular communication Produce a period report incorporating processing volumes, level of queries, payments to terms, potential backlogs, etc Provide weekly Cash flow information Provide support and cover for the Team Leader during absences etc Identify root causes of issues and provide solutions Own the clearance of aged creditors and ensure they are managed / reported pro-actively on a period basis Assist with payment run preparation and execution Supporting co-workers within the team and working together to achieve business targets Other ad-hoc duties as required We would love to meet someone with Relevant experience working in an accounts payable role High level of numeracy and strong IT skills (particularly Excel) Previous management experience Excellent attention to detail, performing all work with high levels of accuracy Good spoken and written communication skills and initiative to problem solve Organisational and time management skills with ability to work to deadlines Open, friendly person who is proactive, keen to develop and work as part of a growing team What's in it for you?
