I am currently recruiting for a Client Accountant for an organisation in Reading on a permanent basis. This opportunity presents itself to you as either an active or stopped studier or qualified by experience. This position will allow you to work alongside a team of accountants who in turn will support a portfolio of clients. You must be familiar with relevant tax processes, basic double entry and reporting. Your portfolio will include clients from an Insurance, Financial services and Property industry. Having experience with RICS is an advantage. You will be responsible for all accounting matters associated with your portfolio. This will include reconciliations, balance sheet, VAT reporting and trial balancing. Experience with budget vs. costs is desirable. Ideally you will have strong Excel skills in order to produce relevant reports for your portfolio. You will be required to liaise with your portfolio on a regular basis via email, phone and face to face, so being personable and having the ability to communicate well with all levels is required. You will be working closely with your immediate team alongside other offices of the business.
