Management Accountant Assistant - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract Eastleigh (Southampton) Location Monday to Friday Pro Rata Salary up to £40,000 Malone Group are currently supporting an industry leading UK based Logistics & Warehouse Group who are seeking a Management Accountant Assistant to join them on a fixed term basis to support one of the arms of the business - based in Southampton Maintain spreadsheets throughout month Providing cover for finance manager (payroll, approvals, cash flow, banking etc) Prepayments, Monthly Accruals & Purchase Ledger Accruals. Calculate and post journals Reconcile movements of subcontractors in the month and calculate accrual Sage Reports. Run all necessary month end reports - Close ledgers in Sage Month end Fixed Assets procedures Maintain Property accounts, invoicing, bank statement and reconciliations Assist Finance Manager with annual audit as required You will ideally be a newly qualified management accountant - with exceptional reporting skills, a good understanding of VAT for management accountant duties, proficient use of Sage 200 and ability to post accurate journals without support.
