£13.83 Contract Type: Temp /Full time An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Accounts Payable Clerk based in Aylesbury to join an expanding company. As a Accounts Payable Clerk will include: A full understanding of all aspects of the Service Centre operations and key tasks. An ability to undertake all tasks with minimal supervision Leading training programmes To ensure the efficient and effective delivery of finance support to internal & external customers. To promote and deliver continuous improvement in all aspects of support services. To ensure that queries logged are handled within the vision of support services i.e. promote the self-help culture and address queries at the first point of contact wherever possible. To be an integral part of the Finance Operations Team, working across all the activities carried out in the Centre. An ideal Accounts Payable Clerk will hold the following skills and experiences: Relevant practical experience demonstrating development through a series of progressively more demanding and relevant work roles. Good knowledge of relevant systems, policies and regulations within professional service area. Good knowledge of other areas of the authority relevant to the service. Good ICT skills - both standard packages and specialist systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical / specialist information in a way which a non-specialist can understand. Highly numerate and accurate with attention to detail Relevant professional qualification preferred - or working towards this or relevant experience. Eg AAT. Good ICT skills - standard Microsoft packages / specialist systems (eg SAP, Paybase, Supportworks) Project management - basic skills Analytical skills Research skills
