My client is a leader in its field and owing to recent growth they are looking for a great Payroll & HR Manager to join the team. The role will take on all aspects to ensure the business delivers to SLAs with a large Public Sector client. About the Role Proactively communicating with stakeholders on a regular basis in a professional and efficient manner Direct day to day responsibility for the management, operation and performance of the Payroll and HR Administration teams Assisting in the client relationship ensuring key objectives and KPI's are met Promoting and demonstrating the business commitment to excellent customer service Provide expert advice on payroll, pensions and HR administration delivery To ensure all customers are invoiced correctly as well as getting involved in the production of commercial proposals from time to time Deal with complex operational enquiries, ensuring that all processing is in accordance with legislation, local policies, strategies and government directives Developing the wider team to ensure that all members of the team have a sound understanding of the customers, services and processes What we are looking for An experienced Payroll &HR Manager professional looking for a great opportunity A sound understanding of performance management and how to apply this within a process driven environment Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and motivate at all levels Demonstrable experience in leading and managing large teams and payroll functions Proven leadership skills with ability and confidence to lead, motivate and develop a team and drive change A strong, detailed understanding and working knowledge of payroll and pension management preferably within a Shared Service Centre environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Sound organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines Must be flexible in their approach, as they will invariably be asked to get involved in things at short notice Contact Barry Holmes, Consultant
