Group Financial Accountant (ACA Qualified | Financial Services) £45,000 - £55,000, Bonus plus Benefits Birmingham Hamilton Woods Associates are exclusively assisting a multi-faceted financial services PLC with the appointment of a technically strong Group Financial Accountant (ACA Qualified) in Birmingham. As Group Financial Accountant you will play a key part in ensuring the Group's reporting keeps updated with the large size and complexity of the business. You will take ownership for assigned areas of the Group consolidation to ensure that the Group accounts are materially accurate and produced in line with PLC's accounting policies, work with the Group Financial Controller as required to assist with the monthly reporting of cost centre information to the head office managers. Experience of complex FSA reporting with previous experience of consolidation accounting will be essential and likely to lead to promotion within this progressive and sector-leading Group. Duties: Maintain the accounting records for designated Head Office entities Take responsibility for the monthly loading of the results of these entities into the consolidation system (resolving any problems which may arise as a consequence) Play a leading role in the annual exercise to review the statutory accounts of all UK subsidiaries Ensure accounts are filed at Companies House in accordance with their deadlines The ideal candidate will be: A graduate, ACA Fully Qualified Big 6 / Top 10 practice trained with demonstrable PLC Audit experience Able to prioritise a heavy workload and motivate others IT proficient including advanced Excel
