This City based UK law firm wish to hire an experienced senior credit controller to oversee the day to debt management of some of the firms most prestigious clients. The sole Credit Controller role will see you reporting to the Revenue Manager and you will be required to carry out all aspects of debt management for all practice groups across the firm. Tasks include; Identifying and developing key client contacts necessary to secure recovery Produce debtor reports for key clients and partners and ensure compliance with clients specific protocols / SLA's Monthly meetings with Partners to advise of any issues, developing strategies to resolve where appropriate Support lawyers with reconciliations and other ad hoc debtor analysis Adherence to internal credit control procedures, escalation policy and best practice Ensure all relevant details are provided for third party collection processes and agents Liaise with service providers, claims handlers and others on collections Contribute to internal review of policies and know-how for capturing market information from file inception through to recover Support the Revenue Manager with minimising company credit risk with a focus on reduction of overdue debtor days Provide relevant reporting information on all outstanding debts Carry our credit risk assessments of new and existing clients Provide support to the wider accounts teamsduring busy times such as month/year end and sick cover Candidates must have strong credit control experience within a law firm and possess or be studying towards the ICM qualification,.
