Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Activities Assisting with the preparation of relevant schedules for treasury reporting packs Assisting with the analysis of data and preparation of schedules for employee benefit schemes. Assisting with the maintenance of equity model and reporting requirements. Preparation of information for quarterly audit review and provide explanations on balances and movements as required. Assisting with the data maintenance in the treasury management system (TMS). Assisting with treasury back office admin activities, including the maintenance of the global bank account database. Controls Maintain an effective control environment over the accounting process of enterprise controllership activities and reporting. Projects (working as part of a team) Analysis of differences between IFRS and US GAAP and preparation of accounting policies under US GAAP Evaluation of impact of upcoming changes in accounting standards Review and documentation of current processes, including a review of process improvement. Other adhoc projects Key Relationships: (Those key individuals they will work with internally and externally) Business unit, Legal entity and General accounting controllership organizations Group consolidation team Treasury team Employee benefits team Outsourced business and accounting partners Auditors Technical /Professional Skills & Competencies: Essential Skills: The candidate should have strong accounting skills, have a focus on delivering results and be able to collaborate effectively with others in a team environment. Ability to learn and apply systemic knowledge to practical day to day tasks Newly qualified with a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or similar).
