REFERENCE: 75351 /18C Our client, is a boutique media fund with over £200mn in assets under management since their inception less than ten years ago. The firm have extensive knowledge managing both EIS and SEIS funds and have just recently launched its first ventures fund. Their primary investment focus is in the media industry, including media project finance and entertainment media. This position will play a key role in the financial support, analysis and planning for the business. The role will act as the main business partner between finance, the commercial team and key stakeholders across the business. This is a superb opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong numerical and interpersonal skills that is seeking a more commercially minded role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the head of finance in the budgeting, cashflow and forecasting processes Acting as a business partner to the commercial team for scenario planning and sensitivity analysis Partnering with key internal stakeholders to support financial and commercial decision making Provide the post investment analysis, reporting and tracking of revenues and recoupment Identify and resolve any issues in collections or forecasting Modelling recoupment waterfalls and analysing collection statements Developing efficient systems to ensure management reports are up to date and correct Producing sales and financial reports and commentary as requested to be accessed by finance and non-finance colleagues Thriving for continuous improvement through creating, developing and review of models and processes YOUR PROFILE: You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Advanced financial modelling skills High level of proficiency in Excel Strong numerical and analytical skills are vital along with the ability to manipulate and interpret data providing meaningful and useful analysis for decision making purposes The ability to explain complex financial matters and present them into simple and useful summaries and constructively advise/challenge senior stakeholders An extremely commercial and practical approach with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills Film/TV industry knowledge is a preference, but not necessary
