Our client are a complex and expanding company with operations in 13 countries. You will support contract retention and future business development across both divisions both in tendering and M&A activity. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining target priority lists and will also ensure compliance with group procedures on tendering / M&A. You will undertake detailed modelling to evaluate tender bids & acquisition targets, and may also be called to support local teams on development activity Main
responsibilities:
The key areas are: Manage & maintain target list (online Growth Tracker) from a divisional prioritisation perspective Review & challenge country tender submission / M&A business plans. This will be in conjunction with the Tender and M&A Managers. Focus will be on.... Ensuring integrity of financial model Analysing & challenging underlying assumptions Identifying risks & opportunities & perform sensitivities Tender/M&A governance including: Co-ordinate processes to ensure compliance with Group procedures on tender / M&A authorisation process Maintain local tender repository on Sharepoint Ensure compliance with post tender award procedures Undertake detailed financial modelling on large projects or in support of country teams with resource constraints Qualification/Skills Essential: High level of ability with spreadsheets (with a preference for some experience of modelling, including discounted cash flows) Strong analytical skills Willing to travel (internationally) as required - 2 days for once or twice a month Desirable: Hands on with strong organisational skills Ability to build excellent relationships across countries and functions Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification Good communication skills Open minded and keen to learn
