The Company: We are delighted to be working in partnership with a global manufacturing business who are looking for an ACA, Big 4 trained accountant to join them in as Group Financial Accountant. The business has experienced a period of growth and will continue to do so, therefore this is an exciting time to join the business. The Role: Reporting into the Group Controller The Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for the Group consolidation of the monthly management accounts and the year-end IFRS consolidation & audit Partner with the finance teams across the globe, dealing with accounting queries Systems exposure to TM1 (management accounts), JD Edwards (ERP system) and IBM Controller (Group consolidation package) Involvement in multiple projects across the financial calendar (recent projects have included the design and roll out of IBM Controller and managing the group's adoption of IFRS 16) The Person: Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA from Big 4/mid-tier firms Strong recent technical expertise Stakeholder engagement - strong interpersonal skills, partnering with the finance teams remotely across the group. The ability to develop relationships here is essential, being particularly aware of different cultures and practices Ambitious and the desire to grow professionally Bright and articulate Strong analytical and Excel skills Flexible in approach and willing to take on new responsibilities with the opportunity to shape existing/new systems/processes
