Our team of professionals provides services over the full lifespan of projects - from bid to handover - from our offices across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Americas. The Position Systech is looking to appoint a Group Credit Controller. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this position is one of responsibility. We are looking for the right person to manage the day to day cash collections for all four regions of the Group: UK/EUR, Americas, APAC and MEA. You will be tasked with ensuring payments are made within credit terms, and to proactively reduce aged debt. The successful candidate will be someone with drive, excellent communication skills, knowledge and experience in this field, being used to working under pressure and able to organise and prioritise for themselves and support credit control in MEA and APAC whilst personally dealing with credit control for UK/EUR and Americas. Responsibilities include: Chasing clients for late or non-payment (retaining reports with current actions / resolutions) Aged debt and query resolution (understanding each query) Escalating issues that may lead to problematic debts to senior management Sending statements and copy invoices to clients Cashflow forecasting Daily banking and allocation using SUN GL Candidate Requirements - Possess a UK Degree or part-qualified - 5yrs post-qualification commercial experience with proven track record - Working for owner / managed businesses a definite advantage - Fluent in spoken and written English - Experience in working with and reporting to Senior Management - Construction experience - not a necessity, but would be an advantage - Be able to work under pressure, being able to co-ordinate the credit control participants in each region to deliver on time - SUN, Q&A and TimeWork systems knowledge an advantage - London-based and with an easy commute into London Bridge a definite advantage and a flexible attitude to working hours to accommodate global time-zones and deadlines.
