EMIR Initial Margining Phase 5 project with the go-live deadline of September 2020 and will be responsible for identifying and determining entities and funds to counterparties early-on so estimates can be made and preparation for go-live can begin. You will work with the business to determine how each entity will comply with IM requirements and how these will be calculated. The project is in the initial stages, so is a great opportunity to get involved from the very beginning and provides the opportunity to have your say in decisions regarding how each fund becomes compliant. responsibilities:
Identifying entities and begin initial preparation for EMIR Phase 5 Calculating and determining IM thresholds to agree on eligible collateral, and monitor thresholds potentially using clearers on specific instruments (NDF's) Asses if any special cases will apply, and determine the impact of cross-jurisdiction if so Establish custodial relationships which each in scope entity will be required to use for collateral segregation Previous experience: Experience of working on Phases 1-3 of EMIR IM is essential Strong knowledge of OTC Derivatives including CDS, IRS, FX, and Equities Asset management experience desired, but would consider strong candidates from sell-side Prior experience dealing with 3rd party vendors, custodians and collateral managers Producing comprehensive and accurate documentation including TOM's, process maps, data flow diagramming etc. Previous experience working in an Agile environment would be advantageous If your skills match the above, please don't hesitate to apply.
