JOB DESCRIPTION Change Public Practice are working with an Aberdeen City Centre based CA firm whom are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role would suit an individual who has a drive to work within general practice and has a minimum of 12 months experience working in an Accounts specific role in a Public Practice environment. This has a varied portfolio of traditional Aberdeen clients from oil & gas to local businesses within the hospitality, retail, manufacturing and charity sectors. The client can be flexible on study packages on offer as they have both ICAS and ACCA trainees who are working towards becoming fully-qualified in their teams. Key responsibilities within this role:
• Assisting the wider Accounts team with the preparation and processing of client accounts
• Work with a varying range of clients including; limited companies, individuals and sole traders
• Preparing corporate tax returns
• VAT and bookkeeping for client base To be considered for this role:
• A minimum of 12 months recent or current experience working within Practice
• A drive to work within Public Practice
• Solid Accounts Preparation experience
