Based on the edge of Huntingdon working for a growing business, who are recruiting this brand new role to expand their finance team. This is a very busy role which means that the successful candidate will be working with all areas of the business. Duties are varied and will include preparing sales invoices, processing supplier invoices and posting to supplier ledger with correct cost codes, dealing with the outstanding supplier list and paying suppliers as required, assisting with Credit Control and helping to maintain the petty cash system. In addition to this you will be expected to Update Fixed Asset Register Entering Journals Maintaining job costing system /monitoring project costs Producing monthly financial reports both external & internal to strict deadlines Producing budgets & forecasts Preparing prepayments & accruals Using SAGE Payroll and Excel The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in varying team strengths and abilities, effectively manage their time and prioritise their workload. You will possess excellent attention to detail along with strong communication skills.
