We audit over 630 pension schemes annually, ranging from the very largest in the UK with over £50bn of assets to those with less than £50m. Our Pensions Audit team is a highly successful regional team, so you will work collaboratively and closely with your colleagues in London, Leicester, Milton Keynes and Reading. Job Description: What you'll be doing: You'll be interested in developing technically strong audit skills, expanding your experience to include working on a number of Pension Schemes sponsored by some of the largest employers in the Country. You'll be responsible for all aspects of the audit, including: planning your assignments; carrying out all audit fieldwork; and completion section of the audit file. You'll carry out work profitably and on a timely basis, in accordance with the firm's professional standards and to the satisfaction of our clients and audit managers. You'll work with the manager team to deliver efficient and effective audits and great client service to pension scheme trustees and administrators alike. You'll be an exceptional team player. Education, experience and qualifications: You'll be training to become professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), or be exam qualified but not yet fully qualified. You may already hold an AAT qualification. You'll be seeking on-the job experience of delivering audit work within a practice environment, and have some audit experience. Pensions audit experience is not essential, however an enthusiasm for gaining this experience is important. You'll be comfortable with working in teams with a high challenge / high support environment You'll be interested in developing a good working knowledge of FRS 102 You'll ideally, also be interested in developing a good working knowledge of compliance and regulation relevant to Pensions Audit Passionate about supporting, advising and helping businesses achieve their potential, you'll be someone who wants to make a difference and shape your career and a Vibrant Economy. You'll have strong technical skills and experience of providing clients with quality services. You should be commercially focused with the ability to deliver innovative solutions.
