A firm of accountants are looking for a recent graduate or school leaver to join their VAT team at their friendly, modern and fast-growing firm. Over a 3 year apprenticeship you will work towards a chartered accountancy qualification, of which the courses and exams will be paid. A good academic record is preferred, and the right candidate should be organised, proactive and have strong written and verbal skills. The role will include: Preparing VAT returns Preparing EC Sales Lists and Intrastats VAT registrations Helping with HMRC enquiries Dealing with queries from clients There is scope in the role to get involved with further aspects of accounts such as preparing statutory accounts and compliance and advisory.
