Our client is an established, fully integrated UK property group - who focus on development and investment, project advice and consultancy services. The business is led by an experienced team that has over 50 years combined experience. This role will support the Head of Finance in delivering a high quality, timely and professional financial reporting service to the business through the preparation and production of accurate financial information and reports. This role will also play an active part in ensuring project accounting processes are robust and project costs are properly allocated and effectively controlled. Key

responsibilities:
Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts for a number of entities across the Group. Support the HoF in the preparation of the Group's statutory financial statements for the annual audit. Work with the Development Team to reconcile project invoices and ensure accurate allocation of costs to live projects, on a monthly basis. Report actual performance against budget on all live projects. Identify cost overruns and work with the relevant stakeholders to minimise their impact on project profitability. Manage the drawdown process on live projects to ensure the information supplied is both accurate and timely and does not cause delay to receipt of funds. Produce timely and accurate financial and management information on development opportunities when required to support the Development Team decision making with regard to project viability and funding requirements. Prepare full monthly balance sheet recs; ensuring any queries are investigated & resolved appropriately. Prepare and submit VAT and CIS returns and register any new legal entities as required. Provide support, when required to ensure the Finance function's transactional activities are completed efficiently and on time. This may include processing supplier invoices and payments, raising invoices and payment reconciliation. Candidate Profile: Proven track record in a similar role with a property developer or housebuilder. Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA and on track to be fully qualified within 2 years of appointment. QBE candidates will also be considered. Proficient in MS office with very strong Excel skills. Experience in financial modelling is desirable. Experienced user of Sage 50. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong communication skills both verbal and written; communicates confidently at all levels.
