Finance Manager / Financial Controller Based in the City Part Time - 3 days a week £30,000 Company Our client is a rapidly growing technology consultancy business based in the city of London. Job Summary A wide-ranging and varied role covering all aspects of managing small business finances from day-to-day bookkeeping to invoicing and preparing management accounts. Ideally the successful candidate will have 7 - 10 year's experience within an office environment in consultancy related companies. The role requires reporting to

• Finance Director Candidate Requirement The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in working in an office environment. They will be comfortable with taking ownership of the finance role and able to manage their own time to ensure the Company meets the regular financial deadlines. The ideal candidate must have demonstrable experience with:
• Accounting/reconciling for invoice discounting
• Bonus calculations
• Accruals
• VAT treatments on an international basis
• Credit control Key Tasks Daily
• Day to day bookkeeping
• Bonus calculations
• Manage suppliers
• Credit control
• Manage expense cards
• Monitor cashflow
• Manage and reconcile financing facilities
• Assist the team with ad hoc finance questions
• Ensuring all necessary documentation is stored on file Monthly
• Produce monthly management accounts (including putting through necessary accruals, depreciation and tax provision)
• Expense reconciliations
• Invoicing
• Ensure the Company meets all HMRC deadlines
• Manage the payroll process with the external accountants Annually
• Liaise with accountants to produce draft year end accounts Skills & Qualifications
• Proven work experience as a Finance Manager
• Experience with Xero and MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work alongside the MD and FD
• Strong organisational skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in English
• Exemplary planning and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
• High level verbal and written communications skills
• Discretion, trustworthiness and confidentiality Renumeration and package The role has a salary of c. £30,000 (depending on experience) per annum with 4 weeks paid holiday plus 8 statutory bank holidays included.
