Commercial Finance Analyst London
Salary:
Competitive Full time/Permanent ROLE MISSION You will be responsible for managing the accounting function within the Shared Service business unit. The position will have primary responsibility for the annual recharges, month end process, fiscal reporting, and overseeing local compliance and controls. You will also be responsible for ensuring the right support is provided to Decision Support team and other business stakeholders so that appropriate action can be made. KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the month-end close the books process, including review of the P&L and liaising with the Senior DS Manager and offshore colleagues in the shared service centre. Oversee the preparation of draft periodic budgets, capital plans and forecasts working closely with the Decision Support and facilities team. Ensure an appropriate controls environment is in place working (where applicable, alongside the relevant shared service centre and IT division) and monitor and report compliance with it (including compliance with SOX) Help harmonise financial processes between the different units within the Shared Balance Sheet unit. Ensure submission of month end reporting packs, including associated schedules Manage interactions with auditors as required. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR... Experience in financial/management accounting Track-record of managing and working within a team environment Ability to self-manage and take ownership for the month end process. Excellent analytical skills and financial acumen Ability to manage various stakeholders Track record of working with regulatory bodies and managing statutory and regulatory compliance Experience with SAP or similar software package
